The Grace Effect Edit - Grace Edition

Hi friends,

This week, I handed The Grace Effect Edit to Grace. She has been busy in the studio, painting at the table, choosing favorites, and spending time with the people she loves most. Nothing overly polished - just five little pieces of life right now.

ONE  /  IN THE STUDIO

Finishing a table full of candles

Grace has been helping us finish a fresh batch of candles, working her way around the table one jar at a time. The studio gives her real work to do, new skills to practice, and a place where her contribution matters.

TWO  /  WHAT SHE'S CREATING

A little fall color at the kitchen table

Fall is already finding its way into Grace's sketchbook. She has been painting apples, pumpkins, and flowers with her watercolors spread across the table - usually with a drink nearby and no concern whatsoever for keeping the table pristine.

Creating is not simply something Grace does to stay busy. It is one of the ways she shares her ideas, makes choices, and shows us what she notices.

THREE  /  GRACE'S CANDLE PICK

The scent she is choosing right now

We put the choices in front of her and let Grace decide. Her favorites are never selected because they fit the content plan - which is exactly why they belong here.

FOUR  /  THE PEOPLE SHE LOVES

Grace has never been shy with affection

One little thing making Grace happy right now is time with the people she loves. She has a way of making affection very clear: a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and absolutely no question about how she feels.

These ordinary moments are the ones that make a week feel full. They do not need a launch plan or a perfect caption. They just need to be noticed.

FIVE  /  EVERYONE AROUND THE TABLE

A cake, a crowded table, and home feeling full

Grace loves having her people together. A birthday cake, everyone leaning in, and the familiar noise of family around the table - these are the moments that never look perfectly organized and are exactly the ones we want to remember.

These five things may look small, but together they are the life we are building with Grace: meaningful work, room to create, choices of her own, and plenty of time with the people she loves.
