Six years of growing with Grace

The Grace Effect began with a question our family kept coming back to: What would Grace’s life look like when her five brothers grew up and moved out?

We wanted to build something with her—work she could take part in, room to learn, and opportunities to discover what she enjoys.

Over the past six years, that idea has taken us in quite a few directions. Together, our family has poured over 20,000 candles, renovated three homes from top to bottom in Southwest Florida, and created a you-pick flower farm in Southwest Michigan. We’ve grown thousands of flowers and baked much-loved muffins. Almond cherry still deserves a special mention.

Each chapter has helped us learn what works for Grace and for our family.

Today, we’re beginning to experience the season we once imagined. As her brothers move into their own lives, Grace is stretching herself and taking on more within The Grace Effect.

Our business continues to change as we learn together. Through every pivot, we’re building a future with Grace—and making room for her to help shape it.
